Spinning Playlist – October 4, 2012

Can you believe it’s October already? Where has the year gone? With cooler weather, we’re going to start seeing bigger classes soon – which is a great thing (and a reminder to show up early if you want to ensure you get a bike – classes tend to be pretty full in Alexandria to begin with).

Here’s tonight’s playlist, straight off the bike:

Warm-up (Flat Road; Resistance 3-4 on a scale of 10)
Good Time – Owl City ft. Carly Rae Jepsen

Building Block #1 (Start Resistance 5, Build to 8)
Turn Me On – David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj
Who’s That Chick – Rihanna ft. David Guetta
Clumsy – Fergie
Dirrty – Christina Aguilera ft. Redman

Building Block #2 (Start Resistance 4-5, Build to 9)
Ocean Avenue – Yellowcard
Don’t Wake Me Up – Chris Brown
Tommie Sunshine’s Megasix Smashup – Katy Perry
Come to Me – P. Diddy ft. Nicole Scherziner
One More Night – Maroon Five

Building Block #3 (Start Resistance 5, Build to 8)
I Can Only Imagine – David Guetta ft. Chris Brown
What the Hell – Avril Lavigne
Airplanes – B.o.B ft. Hayley Williams
Uprising – Muse

Cooldown
The A Team – Ed Sheeran
You Make It Real – James Morrison

Have a great weekend! Hopefully (for those of you in the U.S.) you have the Columbus Day holiday on Monday – I’m looking forward to catching up on a little sleep! And there’s another big game back in Death Valley this weekend, too – my Tigers take on Georgia Tech at 3:30 p.m. EST on Saturday afternoon. It’s historically been a close one (I still have nightmares about that last second loss in 2000 – back when I was a sophomore at Clemson). GO TIGERS!

  1. No..I absolutely cannot believe it is October. It makes me excited for next year at this time when I will be closer to my goal. :). Your spin class looks great ! I no longer have an inside bike, but plan to get one by January…then look for a DVD spinning class. Have a great weekend! Sheila

    • Thanks so much – we have a good time! There are tons of spinning DVDs out there – when the time comes, check out Amazon and Spinning.com (you may even be able to find something on the Fitness channel or OnDemand, if you have either of those).
