Fitness For Anyone: Take a Walk

Walking is one of the easiest ways for anyone to stay active each day. With the weather starting to warm up, now is the perfect time to lace up your shoes and take some time for a little outdoor exercise. Even better? It’s easy to get your daily recommended 10,000 steps in by just getting up from your desk more often, parking a little farther from the building or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

    • Good point … I just figure it’s easier to park farther away and walk a little instead of circling the parking lot (and it’s usually easier to remember where you parked when your car is the lone one in the back of the lot). It always kills me when I see people “space stalking” at the gym of all places. You’re going to work out, you don’t need to be right in front of the door!
