INDOOR CYCLING (SPINNING®)

Indoor cycling classes are designed to resemble an actual outdoor bicycle ride. Simulating a variety of terrain, including hill climbs, sprints, and interval training, indoor cycling is a full-body workout, guaranteed to make you sweat!

Come ride with me at XSport Fitness Alexandria (King St.) every Tuesday and Thursday night at 6 p.m., or at Sport&Health (Skyline) every Wednesday at 6:15 p.m.

I have been a certified Spinning® instructor since 2010. Find out more at www.Spinning.com. I have also been Kaiser certified since 2013.

PILATES

Pilates encourages strength and flexibility throughout the body, primarily concentrated on the core muscles: abdominals, back, hips, and legs. Originally designed as rehabilitation exercises, Pilates is appropriate for men and women of all ages, levels and abilities, from novice exercisers to professional athletes. Pilates is based on the principles of coordinated breathing, concentration, control, centering, and flow.

Grab a mat and get strong, long and lean with me at XSport Fitness Alexandria (King St.) every Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.

I have been teaching Pilates since 2007.

PILOXING

Piloxing is a unique, interval-based hybrid of boxing, Pilates, and dance. Blending the strength-building, body-sculpting power of these three formats, Piloxing allows participants to become “sleek, sexy and powerful” as they reshape their bodies … and have fun doing it! With a growing following worldwide, Piloxing has quickly established itself as a favorite among Hollywood and international celebrities.

I no longer teach Piloxing, but go see my girl Kim! She’s still teaching my old class at XSport Fitness Alexandia (King St.) every Wednesday at 6 p.m.

I have been a certified Piloxing instructor since 2011. Find out more at www.Piloxing.com.

  1. Thank you for sharing your playlists! It looks like the songs were grouped together very thoughtfully. You gave me some great ideas for music to play before and after my Jazzercise classes.
